Whether the hotel’s linen fabric is properly selected will also directly affect the hotel’s efficiency and room occupancy rate. It is necessary to use the most appropriate and reasonable price to purchase the fabrics required by the hotel's quality requirements. Therefore, before choosing a fabric, we must first understand the fabric.

Cotton is very soft

Pure cotton feels good, comfortable to use, easy to dye, rich in pattern variety, soft and warm, strong hygroscopicity, washable, and low static electricity. It is a widely used material for bedding; but it is easy to wrinkle, easy to shrink, and has poor elasticity. Acid and alkali resistant, it is not suitable to be processed for a long time at a high temperature above degrees Celsius, so cotton products are sprayed with moisture when ironing and are easy to iron. If possible, use a steam iron to iron the product after each use, the effect will be better. Generally, hotels with higher requirements for linen quality will purchase this fabric linen.

The price of polyester is low

Polyester fabric is a crossed fabric, with high strength and elastic recovery ability, durable, anti-wrinkle and non-ironing. However, the hygroscopicity is poor, it is easy to be charged with static electricity and polluted dust, which affects the appearance and the comfort is poor. Therefore, the hotel will actively avoid such fabrics when choosing linen fabrics.

High cost performance

Polyester-cotton is made of polyester and cotton for the ratio, divided into two kinds of grain and twill. The plain weave polyester-cotton fabric has a thin surface, good strength and abrasion resistance, and a very small shrinkage rate. The appearance of the finished product is not easy to lose shape, and the price is affordable. In addition, because polyester is not easy to dye, polyester-cotton fabrics are mostly light and light in color, which is more suitable for spring and summer. Twill weave is usually denser than plain weave, so it looks dense and thick, and its surface gloss and hand feel are better than plain weave. Generally, the hotel will choose this kind of fabric, which is comfortable and cheap.

Silk and cotton interwoven light and high-end

Silk-cotton interweaving is a fabric made of real silk and cotton yarn. Generally, it is a kind of light and soft fabric with real silk as warp and high-count worsted cotton yarn as weft. It has the comfort of real silk and the ability of cotton yarn to absorb sweat. It can not only reflect the relatively high-end comfort experience of the hotel, but also bring customers a visually simple and stylish aesthetic enjoyment.

There are also silk fabrics, which are really luxurious hotels that will purchase for suites. The silk looks gorgeous and rich, has natural soft light and sparkle effects, feels comfortable, has high strength, has better elasticity and moisture absorption than cotton, but is easy to stain. The heat resistance to strong sunlight is worse than cotton. The cross-section of the fiber is a unique triangle, and the reflection of light changes after partial moisture absorption, which is easy to form water stains and is difficult to eliminate. Therefore, the silk fabric should be covered with white cloth when ironing.
